OUR STORY
J’s Cakes began as a dream in 2009 while I was studying Hotel Management, inspired by a lifelong passion for baking and a childhood goal of owning my own bakery, also having an entrepreneurial mindset which I learnt from my uncle from a very young age.
What started in my mom’s kitchen quickly grew beyond its walls. With unwavering family support, we moved into our own premises in 2012—lovingly built by my uncle—and J’s Cakes officially came to life.
For over a decade, our bakery thrived as a true family affair. Whether it was my mom managing the day-to-day, my dad lending a hand and going on deliveries, my gran jumping in during busy seasons, or my uncle backing every step—we poured our hearts into every cake, cookie, and celebration we created.
In 2025, we lost my beloved mom, whose guidance and passion were at the heart of J’s Cakes. Her passing marked a turning point, but also a deep resolve to carry on the legacy she helped build. I joined hands with my cousin Grace, and together, we’re taking J’s Cakes into its next chapter—honoring our roots while baking up an exciting future.
